Word Count

  With the new dashboard I’m not seeing the word count when writing or editing a post. Am I missing it somewhere or is it gone?

  Sorry for beig blunt, but you certainly missed a forum search. The question has been answered several times before.

  Sorry for offending you with my ignorance deltafoxtrot but after doing a forum search for “word count” I was unable to find any posts newer than March 21, 2008 which is prior to the new dashboard launch, which I believe was announced on April 4, 2008. I’m sorry for not being as computer savvy as yourself and thank you for your helpful post, which could have listed the answers you refered to.

  In that case I have to apologize. Wow, I knew the forums search was screwed, but didn’t think it to be so utterly useless.

  The word count is not working at the moment but being worked on. No ETA has been given

  Alas, our formerly-competent forum search was fired and replaced with what appears to be a randomizer. I, too, have chastized people for not doing a search and been wrong.

  At the moment I suggest rather that people scroll to the bottom of the main Forum page and click on Support. That at least allows you to focus on tech issues and scroll back a number of pages. Three should be the most you’d need to go to find something current.
