Word Count

  It’s pretty common for writers to keep track of number of words written, especially during events like NaNoWriMo. While it isn’t urgent, it would be nice to have a shortcode or even a stats page, that showed the word count (sans Title) of the pages.

  Hi there!

  Right under the text box of your page and post editor (bottom left), you can find the word count of each page/post.

  There isn’t a current feature that publicly displays a total world count of each page on your site, but feel free to suggest it in our ideas forum:
