Word Count function go poof?

I was/am working on a big post and I can’t seem to find the word count. Now, I’ve had three cups of strong tea and two tylenols, but I think I’d see it if it were there. Has anyone else noticed it there/gone today?

I tried three cups of strong tea and two tylenols but can’t seem to reproduce the issue – Word Count is still clear as day, rich editor or plain text. Will test with coffee just to make sure.

Not there. Definitely gone. Maybe I should upgrade FF? I’m working on 1.0.7 it looks like. Just changed computers.

Works fine for me with Safari 3.1 or Firefox 2.0.0.13 and English Breakfast. Espresso just made my mouse cursor shake.

Okay, can either of you high-tolerance persons please tell me how many words there are in this post? This server doesn’t even have Word loaded, so I can’t just paste and use the wordcount function:

Thanks, I appreciate it. No, actually my spanking new secondhand server died on me so I just went to bed. It was a lovely four hours we had together, though.

I’ve checked on my imac with the newest FF and on a PC at work with the newest IE. Word count isn’t showing up for my posts when I write/edit on either platform.
