Word Count in the Blog

    I want to submit a feature request as many of us in WordPress.com are using the site to post content(like write a journal) wouldn’t it be nice in the dashboard if we could see the number of Words posted so far? There is already a plugin for standalone WordPress http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-word-count/

    It would be really nice if something similar could be implemented for WordPress.com users as well!

    There is a word count at the bottom of the editor box on each post an page we create. As you appear to want to know the total word count on all pages and posts in your blog I have tagged this thread to be moved to the Ideas Forum. That’s where we make suggestions to Staff.
