Hi,
On Monday evening I was able to access word press via the:
https://arpafitness.com/wp-adminHowever when I try to log in now, it won’t recognise my password, and the email recovery option sends me to the customer password section, not wordpress admin. Not only that, but my websites homepage is now 404 error.
I have tried everything to get back in, but nothing seems to work, the link now redirects me from admin to login – https://arpafitness.com/wp-login
My other admin has the same issue where all it does is log him into the customer aspect of the site, not the word press.
I was given access to this site as part of a handover, I have reached out to the previous owner to see if they have a recovery link or still have access.
Really need help recovering my account! I can provide whatever information is needed and proof of domain ownership as well.

We can’t help you as your site isn’t running on the wordpress.com platform nor is it in anyway connected to your wordpress.com account.

To add to what @staartmees noted, I’m afraid that we can’t help directly because your site is not with WordPress.com managed hosting. As such, we don’t have the ability to take a closer look at your site.
Instead, your host uses open-source WordPress.org software, which differs from what we offer here on WordPress.com.
The good news though is that help is available in the WordPress.org forums: https://wordpress.org/support/forum/how-to-and-troubleshooting/
Otherwise, you may want to contact your host for further support.
