Word press does not acknowledge my user name nor email address

Remember my password. I am logged into WP, but wanted to remember my password. I have the email WP sent me but at log in it says no one with that email nor user name. Now what? That IS the email I used and that IS my user name!

Just wanted to clarify, I need to know why WP thinks my address isn’t valid when that’s what listed under my account and I have the “join letter” acknowledging my user name. They think that’s incorrect as well! How do I fix this so I can update PWs and so forth?

Yes, got an activation email! And I get notified about my adding this topic–at the email they say does not exist, addressed to a user they say does not exist!!!!

It says there’s no registered user with that email address, the email address at which they are sending me notifications. ??

So…no way to get any kind of moderator help here? i’d pay for the online chat option but if this is the kind of response, it doesn’t bode well.
