word press error message

  getting the message, ‘ unable to update not a valid JSON response.’ Have attempted the remedies on the forums and YouTube without success ( change to classic editor plug in, permalink saves, deactivating all plugins and working them back one at a time, switching users under the Writing tab) Please help.
