Word Press has the wrong time zone UK

As of 27th October 2024 the time zone for UK wordpress.com has been wrong. The clocks changed from UK Summer Time back to Greenwich Mean Time. wordpress.com thinks that 11 pm is midnight and moves on to the next day, one hour ahead of reality. I haven’t seen an issue like this in the past 14 years on the same blog site.
I have looked at the time settings and they are set to London, where I am located. The time here now is November 4th 2024, 23.34 (11.24pm), but the time on my Dashboard says November 5th 2024, 00.34.

Is the Site Timezone set to UTC+0 ? Is the time set correctly on the equipment you are using to access your site?

The Timezone in WP is set to London (as I said above). I haven’t fiddled with it or changed anything. When the clocks went back an hour to GMT on 27th October my WP seems to have stayed on British Summer Time (BST). This has not happened before during the 14 years I’ve been using WP. If I haven’t changed anything the problem is likely to be with the constant WP tinkering that goes on. On the setting page, WP says “Choose a city in your timezone. You might want to follow our guess: Select London”.
I will set the Timezone to UTC+0 and see what happens at midnight tonight …but I’m sure the issue is down to WP.
