Word Press is not emailing me when I get comments

    Even though the box is checked to notify me I still don’t get notified when. I also tried to change my email… to see if that would help. Word press notified me and ask me to click on a link to verify, I click on the link and the verification button is NOT live. On top of all that, I had someone do a test comment and it wanted them to log in. I SPECIFICALLY HAVE IT NOT CHECKED SO COMMENTATORS DO NOT NEED TO LOG IN. UGH!!!! Help , anybody?
