Word Press Nav bar not showing up
-
I am creating some websites using the same template. After I get it installed I change the text and graphics suff but I cannot seem to get the nav bar to show up on one website, therefore the pages are invisible. I have saved, imported and updated the database, installed the theme, changed the permalinks etc but still can’t figure it out.
Here is the website in question
http://mainecooncatsrus.comHere is the website it was cloned from
http://savannahcatsrus.comAt the moment, these 2 sites should be identicle. Once I get all the pages and the nav bar to show I will change the text, headers, backgrounds etc.
All the pages DO show up under “pages” in the WP dashboard, but they do not show up online.
p.s. The menu is also created in the menus section and the permalinks are on custom with /%category%/%postname%/
I have changed to the default permalink, saved the page, them back to the custom with no effect.

Hi. You have a self-hosted WordPress blog and are in the wrong forum (like last year). Please ask your question at http://wordpress.org/support
You are currently in a forum for blogs hosted by WordPress.com and our answers will not apply to your situation. Thanks and I hope you find a solution to your problem soon.

I personally see the difference. Isn’t wordpress the same whether self hosted or hosted on this site.????

Hi @oncilla, there is a difference. Blogs on WordPress.com have certain functionality and features and WordPress.org has a broader set of functionality and features. You can read about the differences in this Support article, http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
