Are we currently fully paid up on the premium plan?
If so, when does this expire and what email address to do have for notifications of payment?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Yes you are. Your premium plan expires on September 11. I don’t want to share your email address here, if you start a live chat session through https://wordpress.com/help/contact we can share that information privately with you.

I am getting messages that we are out of storage space. Even though we are on the Premium plan. I have deleted 3-4 years worth of posts but really don’t wnat to delete more. We are currently editing our media library of pics to resize them smaller but it is taking a very long time. Do you have nay suggestions?

  • Hi there,

Just an additional note that the premium plan on your site belongs to another admin, so only that admin would be able to renew it, or to contact live chat support.

I have deleted 3-4 years worth of posts but really don’t wnat to delete more.

The number of posts you have published has no impact whatsoever on your available storage space, and deleting posts will not free up any space in your library at all. Only files uploaded to the media library count toward storage space.

You are indeed using 99% of the 13GB storage available for your site.

We are currently editing our media library of pics to resize them smaller but it is taking a very long time.

Editing images in the library itself will not reduce your storage space. If you do that, a copy of the image is created with your edits, while the original is also kept to allow you to reverse the changes should you want to later. So in fact editing an image directly in the library will use up even more space.

If you want to edit your existing images, you’ll have to download them to your computer, edit them there using software like GIMP or Photoshop, manually re-upload them and replace them in any posts on your site where they were used, and then delete the original from the library. Given you have over 7000 images in your media library I don’t really think this is a feasible option for you.

The only other way to get more storage is to upgrade to our Business Plan, which comes with unlimited storage.
