Wordad overlaying posted photos

What’s the deal with the new and distracting WordAd that goes right over the bottom of our photos. The ad takes the reader away from the post right from the start. It even cuts off the entire bottom portion of the picture including our copyright. I had to take off WordAd because of lack of options. Is going self-hosted the only way out of this?

That’s a limited test we’re running, announced on the private WordAds Group blog.
Do you have access to that blog? You would have received an invitation when you joined WordAds, but I can send a new one to you.

Yes I would like the image overlay disabled. I know of others who turned Wordads off because of it. If you will notify me when it is disabled I will turn Wordads back on then. By the way I tried the address above for the wordads team and it didn’t work.

I have disabled the image overlay ads and sent you a new invitation to the private blog where we announced this a few weeks ago.
