  SHORT ANSWER:
  No, WordPress.com does not allow advertisements from third-party sources like Google AdSense, OpenX, Lijit, BuySellAds, etc. But still if you like to run these types of ads on your blog, you may wish to try a self-hosted WordPress.ORG installation.

  @otpidusprime – I already gave out the monetize link in the reply that you replied to – you are of course free to chime in, and the same answer twice reinforces the message, but more often than not is unnecessary…

  These forums are a space where anyone can request and provide help for their WordPress.com account and sites.

  Many times a forum volunteer will see the same question asked in a different light than another volunteer. As long as it answers the question and/or informs the community member who asked, it’s all good.

  Also, if someone starts answering a question and then gets up in the middle and comes back and hits the submit button only to see that the question has been answered, no harm done. It’s all good.
