  Hello, I learnt that I can start gaining some income from my new wordpress hosted domain, that I can consequently use to upgrade my plans in the fuure. The Key to this was applying for a WordAd. However, I can’t get through because again I’m required to first obtain a .com domain. Please explain

  A .com domain is required in order to be eligible for WordAds. EXAMPLE.WordPress.com will not work, but EXAMPLE.com will.

  We are unable to provide WordAds for sites with the default free [example].wordpress.com URL, so you’ll need to either register a new domain name or map an existing domain name to your WordPress.com blog of choice.
