I have upgraded to wordpress business plan for a month now but why my site visionzim.com is only displaying WordsAds sign up Ads only when i visit? I’d like WordAds to show Ads based on the visitor’s geographic location. Does WordPress update my Earnings in realtime or I’ll have to wait for some weeks before I can see them?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there,

Various factors affect what ads show when someone visits your site, not just their location. When someone loads your site, advertisers bid on the ad space in real time, and which advertisers bid depends on where the visitor is located, that visitor’s browser history, whether or not that visitor has anti-tracking or ad-blocking enabled in their browser, the language of the content on your site, and the content of the post itself, to name just a few. There is no way to control exactly which ads will show to which visitors.

WordAds earnings do not appear in real time, but are posted three to six weeks after the end of a given month. Our terms of service state earnings are released at the latest by 45 days after the end of the month, though usually they are released sooner.

Earnings for July has not been released yet, as we’re upgrading our system and this is causing delays with processing that month’s figures.

If you have any more questions, please start a live chat via the link @timethief provided above.

    Hi there,

I’m going to join this thread because I have the same problem only local ads. My website has this problem since March 2018 and I’ve been trying to engage with support service for many times and yet nothing changed. I’ve upgraded to business plan because I expect to earn more and yet, the earnings got worst the moment I did that. Your business plan is not cheap and it’s not worth to buy it because now it makes me feel that it’s not worth to upgrade from premium to business plan. On average, this will take 10 months to break even the cost that I pay for the plan upgrade.

Please don’t give me standard answer because the answer above is what I’ve seen in many other threads. Here’s my website.

    Thank you.

    @bayabusco

    – Upgrading to business does not automatically increase earnings.

    – Advertisers want a return on their investment as well. They look for compelling, original content, and real people who enjoy that content.

My clicks on your site brought me to repetitive pages that asked for donations. If you were an advertiser, would you want to pay for ads on pages like that?

While these guidelines are for Discover, they’re the same sorts of things that attract better paying ads as well:

    Hi supernova,

Thanks for your reply. Well, I agree when you are saying that upgrading to business doesn’t automatically increase the earnings.

Quote: My clicks on your site brought me to repetitive pages that asked for donations. If you were an advertiser, would you want to pay for ads on pages like that?

When you put it this way, does it mean it looks bad? I’m asking because I’m not sure and I’ve seen a lot of websites in same genre as mine are doing the same thing. However, I don’t mind accepting your advise on it if it should be done in that way if it can attract more advertisers to come to my website.

    Thanks again.

    Hi –

Yes, in general, advertisers are looking for unique and compelling pieces. Something that stands apart from the rest.

I would follow the advice supernovia presented in the last post.

Got it thanks. I will try to remove the donation links on every post. However, if I put the link on the sidebar, it is still better, right?

However, if I put the link on the sidebar, it is still better, right?

The donation button added to the sidebar will be displayed in the same place throughout your site and although it is visible across multiple posts/pages, it will be displayed in one area which may look better. Ultimately though, I recommend focusing on building strong, original content using the tips @supernovia linked to:
