I have applied for wordads last week and I was waiting for approval for more than a week now.
My website approximately get more than 500 -1000 visitor per day. I hope I can join wordads program. Awaiting your reply.

Our advertising partners do have a minimum traffic threshold. Looking at your page views, it’s not possible to earn meaningful earnings given your traffic levels. A site generally needs several thousands of page views each month to earn meaningful earnings. As your traffic grows we will continue to apply to get ads activated, there is no need to re-apply.

I want to strongly emphasize sharing your blog with your friends and family. If they like it, they’ll share it with their friends, and so on.

opinimu, WordPress doesn’t release the exact required visitors per month for approval but it is generally believed to be anywhere between 15000 – 20000 views per month.
My site took 7 months to get approved, you need some patience :), you applied to WordAds only 7 days ago. My advice for you is to just focus on improving your blog, writing more articles and getting more visitors.

However in looking at what I can buy ad space on other sites – a site needs quite a bit of traffic to get more than just a few pizzas a year – my guess is around 100k page views would be a few pizzas (depending on what town you live in and how expensive your favorite place is) –
a big mistake many people make is thinking they can easily get rich with a few ads and 200 page views a month – I have talked with people that had 20,000 page views a month & liked the income one year – then ad rates crashed the next year and they were really singing the blues the following year – – short answer – unless you have a big site (larger than mine) – look at any ads as buying yourself a nice birthday or Christmas present

It would be more than a few pizzas, depending on the local price of pizzas, and the country of origin for that majority of your audience.

Maybe I should rethink things on my site with 70% U.S. traffic (over 80% if Canada & the U.K. are added in) and pizzas here should not be as bad as the Bay Area – but then I have sort of gotten used to not having ads on my site –
