Hi, i have about 5 years blog in wordpress.com, and i have my own domain.tld which is i’m currently thinking serious to take this private domain as mapping domain for my wordpress.com blog and join in with wordads. Every day at least minimun 1500 visitors visit my blog, some another day it can pass 2000 visitors. So yes about the minimum visitors it seems i dont have problem to join wordads.

    My questions:

    1. Does wordads accepting blog in indonesian language or not!?
    2. How much money i will receive for every 1000 visitors visit my blog?
    3. If i use the domain mapping feature, does it mean if visitor visit my xxx.wordpress.com blog it will change into my personal domain.tld on the address bar automatically?

    Thank you!

    Hiya,

    1. Does wordads accepting blog in indonesian language or not!?

Your language of your site won’t impact your approval into WordAds.

    2. How much money i will receive for every 1000 visitors visit my blog?

There is no set amount for what each blogger will receive, it’ll vary on a wide number of factors. These include:

    • Amount of traffic your site gets
    • Location of your viewers – impressions from North America tend to result in a greater amount of revenue
    • Content of your site
    • If readers are using ad-block

The best thing to do is to try and grow your audience to increase revenue:

    3. If i use the domain mapping feature, does it mean if visitor visit my xxx.wordpress.com blog it will change into my personal domain.tld on the address bar automatically?

    Yes, that’s correct. :)

  • Thanks @torres126.

@phoenixproton, we also have some FAQs here that may help you:

I also wanted to note that in the past we didn’t allow self-managed outside ads (from local vendors or Amazon for example) but you can add them now so long as that isn’t the primary purpose of your site. You may have some luck with ad space that way. I still would recommend using a custom domain prior to switching to that option.

Just came out from the hospital!

First, thank you @torres126 and @supernovia for replying my questions.

    i still have questions:

    1. I used https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/ as basic guide to make my existing wordpress.com domain become accessible into my own domain.tld (domain mapping).

So i choose the WordPress Premium here https://wordpress.com/pricing/

In the end of the Order Summary checkout i got..

    WordPress.com Premium – annual subscription = 12 months X monthly bill.

if I have already paid for 1 years, is there any guarantee that my wordpress.com domain blog will be aprove as wordads valid blog so i can start to monetize it?

    2. What if i already paid for 1 year subcription and my wordpress.com blog being decline as wordads valid blog, can i ask for money return of what i have paid?

    3. Can someone tell me if my wordpress.com blog http://kutakhabispikir.wordpress.com/ is fully pass the daily visitors amount for wordads sign up term or not yet.

sorry, my english is not that good, i hope you can understand and reply this.

    thank you!

If you upgrade to the Premium or Business Plan you are automatically accepted into WordAds immediately. In that case the minimum visitor requirement does not apply.

However, we cannot guarantee that you will make any meaningful income, as that depends on the amount of traffic on your site, where that traffic comes from, and which advertisers choose to bid on ad space on your site. We don’t control any of those factors.

    2. What if i already paid for 1 year subcription and my wordpress.com blog being decline as wordads valid blog, can i ask for money return of what i have paid?

You can get a refund on any WordPress.com plan if you request it within 30 days of purchase.

    Refund a Purchase

We don’t offer pro-rated refunds beyond 30 days after purchase.

    3. Can someone tell me if my wordpress.com blog http://kutakhabispikir.wordpress.com/ is fully pass the daily visitors amount for wordads sign up term or not yet.

That site is a free WordPress.com site, and not at a custom domain. It cannot be enrolled in WordAds without a custom domain.

We do not disclose the minimum traffic requirement for WordAds, and I cannot tell you whether that site meets the requirement or not. If you wish to apply for WordAds you need to add a custom domain to that site, and once your application has been submitted, the site will be approved automatically once it reaches the required traffic level.

I want to buy business plan but I’m not sure wordads support with Khmer (camboian) content or not. My question is
Does wordads support with Khmer (camboian) language?

  • Hi @sthabnik,

This depends on our advertising partners and the advertisers. If there’s a high demand for local advertisement in your area, they will start displaying local ads in Cambodian.
