WordAds is not displaying adverts, just blank space

WordAds is not displaying adverts, just blank space. I have moved my NoAds package onto an alternate site, in case it was conflicting, but the problem is not resolved. How can this be fixed? WordAds were displaying previously, so I’m not sure what has changed.

I wonder why I can’t see them then. Not in IE or Safari… No ad blockers (that I know of…)

Safari was discontinued on Windows a few years ago. Would you mind double-checking in a different browser, like Firefox or Chrome?

I used safari from my ipad. I’ve also checked in Chrome, from my work pc, and it is the same thing – just a big white space where the ads once were!

I still can’t see them on my site, and I checked in the other browsers too. I can’t see any ads on the link either! Not at the end of the post or in the banner, though I could see a space where they were meant to be. If this is a UK problem will my non UK visitors be seeing the ads ok?

Your impressions haven’t gone down below standard fluctuations, so it would seem that most of your visitors can see ads.
I’ll continue to look into this with our UK ad providers.

Ok great. That sounds reasonable since I only have around 10% of my traffic from the UK. But I would like the space to not be empty as it doesn’t look great (as well as less impressions).

Ok, I’ll get in touch with our ad network in that region again, thanks for confirming, and sorry for the trouble!
For what it’s worth, your impressions are still coming in as normal, so a good majority of your visitors are still seeing your ads.

FYI this is fixed now (noticed yesterday). I did get a lot fewer recorded impressions than views though last month. (15000 impressions vs 30000 views). Not sure why there was such a big difference if this was only affecting my UK readers?

50% is actually within the expected difference. Not every view will be an impression. A viewer needs to actually view the ad for it to be an impression, so they may not scroll down far enough or they may be running an ad blocker.
