Wordads – more hits less money?

  I have had wordads on my blog for over a year http://www.ladywithatruck.com and the whole time the more ad impressions I had the more I was paid by Wordads, if my hits went down, I was paid less. Made sense to me.
  Last month my ad impressions went from 35,789 in December to 41,142 in January and I got $4 less in Jan than Dec. Why?
