Wordads no bidding

    Hello,

So, I recently applied to wordads and least I can say is that I’m getting a very low cpm, to the point where it doesn’t justify having ads at all.
I’ve had 280.000 ads served in the last 8 days, most of which were served in the us, but my CPM hasn’t moved from an average of 0.01$, earning me about 4 bucks in total.
I contacted the chat, I was told that there was no bidding, but my issue is that I don’t understand why that is the case. If someone could just steer me in the right direction, I’d really appreciate it.

  • Hi there,

Advertisers bid on traffic to your site based on various factors, including but not limited to where your traffic comes from, the browser history of those visitors, the language of content on your site, the type of content you post, which other advertisers are bidding, how much other advertisers are bidding, the time of year, and general trends in the online ads industry at any given time.

Most of these factors are not in your or our control, and there is nothing you can do to make advertisers bid more on your site – the same visitor viewing the same post on two different days can result in widely different earnings for those two views.
