wordads not showing/incompatibility with iE8

    Hi,

    I was wondering if you could help me with a couple of issues I’m having with my blog http://www.sapphire-city.com. I have recently changed the theme to ‘Spun’, however it looks completely wrong when viewed on IE8 (fine on newer versions of IE and Chrome). Is this a problem with WordPress, or is this theme not made to be compatible with IE8?

    Also, I have WordAds installed, however with this new theme the ads aren’t showing (on all internet browsers). Is there a reason for this?

    We can generally only guarantee compatibility with the most recent version of browsers and at this moment IE is at version 11.

    Though many themes support a few versions back, IE has a terrible history of being lousy at supporting standard web coding practices until IE 9, and IE 8 was not exception. If a theme works well in IE 11, it should work well all the way back to IE 9.
