WordAds Themes
-
So i just got accepted for WordAds; but now i get this on the page:
“Your theme does not support all WordAds placements, and you can maximize your earnings by switching to a WordAds-optimized theme.
Please consider selecting a WordAds-optimized theme for your site”Does this mean WordAds won’t show at all or won’t show as well as it could. I’ve researched optimized themes all day and none have the simplicity and elegance of sight. The feature images are either not boxy, or the posts are shown in their entirety rather than a photo and a few line. I know i can fix this but with close to 200 posts it’ll be a lot of editing on my end that i can’t focus on right now.
So do any WordAds show on SIGHT theme or is there any chance Sight can get more compatible with WordAds. If not, any suggestions that would work well with my Entertainment Blog?
Thanks,
Joe

As I understand the FAQ on the WordAds site, you have two options. The Simple Ad option places an ad at the bottom of your posts and pages, much like the regular ads shown on WordPress.com blogs. That one should work on all themes.
Optimized ad placement, however, is not available to all themes yet. You can read the FAQ here: http://wordads.co/faq/
There’s also a link on that page where you can contact WordAds support directly. That might be the best way to get a definite answer.

When you’ve got a non-optimized theme it really means the display’s not elegant, but there will be ONE ad on your site. With an optimized theme, I believe you can have ads in three places. You can see the ad on http://thecryptosphere.com which is a non-optimized theme. It doesn’t look great.
