WordAds vs Jetpack Ads

  Hello, I’d like to use an ad program on my WordPress.org site. The site uses a custom theme called ‘Newspaper.’ It’s currently hosted via Bluehost with a custom domain name.

  I’m hoping someone can clarify. Jetpack says on its site that it uses WordAds, yet I’ve seen on WordPress.com FAQ section that sometimes distinctions are made between Jetpack Ads and WordAds. Are these two separate and distinct programs? Also, can I use both on a custom wordpress.org theme? I read somewhere WordAds only works on wordpress.com sites. Any info would be helpful and greatly appreciated.
