What’s bad is at the $15/16 price point is that they’re pretty much selling them at cost. Cafepress is fairly expensive.
-
yes, but it’s not through current exchange rate for malaysian ringgit. it would cost about rm50. the average t-shirt sells about rm30 here. there are shirts sold at rm50 here, but not ones i would buy for sure, unless it’s really really good.
-
I don’t even think cafepress ships out there either.
The logo is downloadable I believe and lisenced so that you can get them done yourself.
-
Like drmike says: They’re pretty much selling them at cost. You can’t get any cheaper than cost and the exchange rates aren’t really relevant. The purchaser pays for shipping and the exchange rate to Malaysia, Antarctica or wherever.
Why not download the logo and get a T-shirt made for you?

that’s if i can find this thing! wordpress should have some kind of competition a la engtech’s and give out free wp t-shirts!

There is no lineup out to the street to get passports in Vancouver; I walk by the passport office every day. There IS a lineup to get US work permits, though, but the US office is not in the same building as the passport office.
Does anyone have any clue what is actually going to happen at Wordcamp?

eat BBQ, take pictures, listen to Matt, eat more BBQ, talk about blogging, eat more BBQ, talk about promoting your blog, complain about your sick stomache, drool over everybody else’s laptop, throw up the BBQ all over your wordpress t shirt, ask Mark about that ring of his…
here was teh schedule from last year: Link
-
Thanks for that. I just realized I don’t have a laptop; my attendance at Wordcamp, should it occur, will be a blogging-free zone. That will be weird.
-
maybe this time computer companies may join in to promote their latest gadgets, then you can use for free! or if you do go just borrow someone’s laptop.

We were on vacation last year when this was happening, so I missed it. This year, I’m going. I work in San Francisco, and live across the bay in Berkeley, so it’s not that far.
San Francisco is easy to navigate. I know someone upthread hates BART (the trains that connect everybody who doesn’t live in San Francisco to the city), but I take it every day into work and nothing bad’s happened in the 20 some years I’ve been doing that. Still, it’s probably a lot more fun to stay in the city and just walk places.
I hope I see some of you guys there. And Dr. Mike? If you need a place to stay, we’d be happy to put you up.
