Wording of WPress subscript – suggest option not using the word 'blog'

  My problem is that I have primarily a ‘static’ rather than a ‘blog’ site, and would prefer to be able to use something like ‘powered by’ as an option, rather than ‘blog at’. It does tend to give the wrong impression as to the nature of my site. Can I officially make this as a suggestion to WordPress?

  Yes you can make that suggestion and I’ll tag this thread so it’s moved to the Ideas Forum where we make such suggestions to Staff.

  The “powered by WordPress” link is what’s found in the footers of WordPress.ORG installs.

  [opinion] I sincerely doubt that most of my readers even bother to look at the footer credit links at all. [/opinion]

  Thank you. If not ‘powered by’ then maybe something like ‘hosted by’ or whatever WordPress deem appropriate?
