  WordPress installation of optimize press for new worpress site. The site does not have the same features as the demonstration videos to upload themes and plugins and I am very annoyed and frustrated as I am trying to set me website up…

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  I believe the confusion surrounds the difference between WordPress.com and WordPress.org.

  WordPress.com and WordPress.org are different versions of WordPress, with different support forums. One is for sites that are self hosted and the other is ONLY hosted on WordPress.com.

  On WordPress.com, you are not able to upload custom themes, nor install plug ins. For themes, you are only able to choose from themes listed in the Theme Showcase here

  All available plugins on WordPress.com are already built in and you don’t have the option to install third-party plugins here.

  It seems you might have good understanding of wordpress.com, please can you kindly attempt to answer my query… I have posted it and its titled “Is this legal to use free wordpress…” on forums
