  How do I have ‘.wordpress’.com removed from being a part of my web address?

  Howdy,

  To do that means you will have to upgrade to a personal plan or higher. The free plan doesn’t allow you to have a custom domain. You can find more about our plans here: https://wordpress.com/pricing/

  Hi there,

  With a paid WordPress.com plan you’ll get a domain credit for which you’ll be able to register your own domain (without .wordpress.com). You can learn more about how domains work, by checking here.

  Hi justsaythewordllc!

  You can remove the .wordpress.com from your address by adding a custom domain to your site, which is a paid upgrade. Personal, Premium and Business WordPress plans all include custom domains. You can compare plans and pricing here: Pricing

  Once you’ve upgraded, you can register new or existing domains for your site. To learn more about domains and how to register them, check out the Domains support page.
