    im new to this, so i have a few questions,

    I already have a domain name and host with namecheap,
    made recently so transfering to wordpress isnt possible right now.

    i want to use a purchased wordpress theme, it says only under the business pricing plan of $25 month allows you to upload wordpress themes. will i be able to do all things on personal pricing plan, including uploading a theme template. plugins etc, and also is there no option og a month payment for trial, paying outright is expensivet.

    Hi,

    All payments are billed per year. So you have to pay in advance. I suggest reading here for more info on different plans:

    You will only be able to use those features on a Business plan. You cannot upload any third-party themes or plugins on lower plans.
    You can search through a fairly large library of WordPress.com themes for the one which suits you best and see if you can work with that one:

    Also you don’t have to transfer the domain you have purchased recently, you can use Domain Mapping which is included on a Personal, Premium or Business plan.

    – There are two platforms in WordPress i.e
    WordPress.com
    WordPress.org

    WordPress.com and WordPress.org are both different platforms, you can find more information for this here:

    I already have a domain name and host with NameCheap,
    made recently so transferring to WordPress isn’t possible right now.

    – As you have already have purchased the domain and hosting you can use WordPress.org software on name cheap to create your site.
    Under that, you can easily add plugins and upload themes as per your hosting plans with NameCheap.
    To know more about it please read out the difference between org and com platform in the above links.

    But if you want to shift on com platform then you can map your domain that you registered already with WordPress as you can’t transfer it now (you already mentioned)

    To work on WordPress.com platform and to use the custom themes and plugins you need to be on business plan as suggest to you before.

    – Payments of plans or domains or any renewals in WordPress are done on the yearly basis. You can pay for the year and try out with the plan features if it works for you then you can continue or otherwise you can cancel the plans with in 30 days and you can get the full refund.
