    If I buy a domain from a hosting company and I want to put it on my wordpress site, do I need a paid plan or does it work with the free one? And I would like to know if I have to buy hosting services from that company or just the .ro domain?

    Hi @tudo2003, if you want the site to display your custom domain at the top, you will need a paid plan. You can redirect a domain to a free address if you’d like, though.

    We provider hosting with our support and maintenance services. We also provide domains if you’d like to buy one with your plan — in fact you’ll get the first year of the domain free, along with SSL, direct support, and a bunch of nice features.

    There’s also the free WordPress software that you can install elsewhere. You’d need to buy hosting, and provide your own support, SSL, etc. We have more info here:
