Why isn't my domain mapping working?

  Why does “.wordpress” still show in the url? I paid to have that removed.
  Blog url: http://firstfreeparents.wordpress.com/

  Your blog is successfully mapped to firstfreeparents.com.

  In order to show firstfreeparents.com in the address bar of your browser instead
  of firstfreeparents.wordpress.com, you will need to update your primary domain.

  • Go to the Upgrades > Domains page from your blog’s Dashboard
  • Click the selection button next to ‘firstfreeparents.com’, then click the ‘Update Primary Domain’ button
