WordPress 4.1 has corrupted menus in BOTH WordPress.com & self-hosted SAME WAY

  All my menus in WordPress 4.1 are corrupted! Can’t scroll to the point on the “parent” tab to attach a new page that belongs there. That’s THREE of my web sites corrupted like this. I can’t use my menus, I can’t build my sites,frozen, dead in the water, no more menu access.–This really calls for a return to html, and control over my affairs. THIS site was built FROM SCRATCH, no XML. The corruption is coming directly from WordPress itself. I’m getting out of WordPress, we have no control, you destroy our web sites with impunity, with auto-updates. STUPID STUPID system. As if people want to build a web site, then have all the components become corrupted or non-compatible because you arbitrarily change WordPress. This is just sheer nonsense. Nobody wants this kind of situation.
