WordPress 4.7.3. bug showing the letter 'g' on my website frontpage
-
Hi,
I recently updated WordPress to version 4.7.3. but I seem to be getting a bug the shows as ”g” both on the back end(admin) login page and also on the front page of my site.
My current theme is flatsome child and I am using woocommerce for my store .The issue is,my webstore now hangs with black image on the header and the site takes very log to load. I added Stripe and Google adwords/adsense recently and not sure if that could the issue . I’d appreciate it very much if anyone could assist as I am not very code savvy. The ‘g’ error/bug comes and go but it shows on the top left corner of the Main header menu. https://www.bearboxers.co.uk/ . Cheers. George

Sorry but you are in the wrong place.
These forums are only for blogs/sites hosted by WordPress.comWordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and different http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
And you should ask in the WordPress.org forums.
http://wordpress.org/support/If you don’t have a username on the ORG forums, you’ll need to register one there.
Cheers

Hi George
You are asking the wrong people for help! The WordPress.COM forums are meant for people whose content is hosted at WordPress.com. Your store has to be hosted someplace else. How do i know this? Content hosted here at WordPress.com does not allow upgrading to different versions of WordPress, We can’t use Stripe, Adwords, Adsense, any of that cool stuff that you refer to.
https://wordpress.org/support/
is THE place to go for help with this issue. They have experience with online stores, plugins, and themes that we do not. Likely as not, somebody there has already experienced this, and can guide you through a fix. When you ask, include as much information as possible.
https://make.wordpress.org/support/handbook/forum-welcome/
is a great place to know what to include.good luck!
