WordPress 5.6 issue: submenus no longer appear
-
I just updated WordPress to version 5.6. The sites submenus no longer appear.
-
-
They exist in the settings/appearance/menu. They just don’t appear in the menu at the top of the home page.

That seems like a lot of effort…this was an issue when I updated a previous issue of WordPress over the summer. GoDaddy assisted me in fixing it, then WordPress issued a patch to correct the issue.
I also noticed on my other site that the slide who, banner, and menus are not appearing on the home page.
I wonder if WordPress can look into these issues, assuming other users are having similar problems.

It could be a problem with your theme WordPress do replease loads of updates and most to break websites.
You could restore it back to a previous version that worked until you find out. Also you should have a copy of your site to test on first then push it live if everything seems to be ok.
