WordPress 6.7 or later does not allow markdown notation

    Hello.
I have a problem about wordpress 6.7 and I need some advice.
I have been running my site on wordpress.com for a year now and have been using the markdown feature of Jetpack, but since wordpress has automatically updated to 6.7 or later, the markdown feature is no longer available!
For example, simple things like #Headings
and also processes like using ‘|’ to generate table tags don’t work at all!
Is anyone else having similar problems?
If you know of a solution, please let me know!

Hi, I am very sorry to hear about the issues you are facing currently with the Markdown notation. You may try the following steps:
    1. Check for Plugin updates: Ensure that you have the latest version of Jetpack installed, as the updates may include fixes for compatibility issues.
    2. Disable Other Plugins: Please try disabling other plugins to see if the Markdown feature starts working again. Sometimes conflicts with other plugins can cause issues.
    3. Contact Support: If the problem still persists, please try reaching out to Jetpack support.

Hopefully, these steps will help you get the feature working again.

Thanks for the advice, sincerely appreciated!
I’ve tried all the methods you’ve given me, but no solution.

I’m thinking of contacting Jetpack support, but before I do that, let me ask one more question
With the hosting by WordPress.com, is it impossible to downgrade the wordpress version to the previous one?
I have checked the wordpress.com site, but so far have not been able to find any information on this.
I thought about downgrading manually via FTP, but it seemed impossible due to the unusual file structure on FTP!
