  I alreadty have the In Search of El Dorado website. I noe have another domain, hurricanecountry.com, from which I will be selling an eBook. I logged in as already having a site, but I am creating a new site. Do I need to start from scratch with wordpress? or is there already an in because I have a site?

  Hi there!

  To avoid confusion, there are three different “WordPress” at play here:

  1. The free, open-source WordPress software which powers your website.
  2. WordPress.org which is the open-source project that works on the WordPress software and where you can get the software for free to use on your own hosting provider.
  3. WordPress.com which is a managed hosting provider of the WordPress software and with whom you’re contacting now.

  Since your site is not hosted with us, we’re limited in what we can help with and advise. But I can get you pointed in the right direction to get help.

  If you want to make another WordPress site separate from your existing site currently at HostGator, you do need to create a new one with its own domain name and WordPress installation. HostGator should be able to help you get that set up.
