  I hired someone to build my website a few years ago and everything was working fine. Now when I try to login to the dashboard it tells me my account doesn’t exist. Well, I went to the webpage and created a new account with the same username & email. Now it is asking for me to transfer my current domain? I have no idea what I am suppose to do. I know I paid for an upgraded account a few years ago and don’t want to pay for it again. Help me figure this out please.

  What is the address of your site? If you have created a username and email here at WordPress.com the same as ones that already exists then it sounds like your site is actually hosted somewhere else entirely.
