wordpress account closure / lost log in details

  hello, I opened a second (this) wordpress account on a new webhost, but I need to close this WP account. I still have a (separate / first) wordpress account on my original webhost but have lost the log in / details for it (stupid yes). Both accounts have the same email address. How do I access the log in details for my first WP account ? If I close the second (this) account will it impact operation of my first WP account (given same email address for both WP accounts) ? TIA for any advice. freddy

  It sounds like you have 1 account set up on WordPress.com (here) and another account set up through the WordPress installation (WordPress.org). Those 2 accounts are not linked and removing one would not affect the other if this is the situation.
