WordPress account deactivation

  i would like to delete my wordpress.com profile. Will this effect my wordpress.org profile, domain and hosting that i have already set up and purchased?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  WordPress.com and WordPress.org profiles are independent of each other. Any deletion on WordPress.com won’t affect your WordPress.org profile, domain or hosting.

  Also, there is no way to delete a WordPress.com profile once created.
  You can instead leave your account inactive by following this:

  1) Delete Site linked to your account
  https://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/
  Note:
  Once you delete your site you can’t have the same domain name. Read the link below before doing so.

  You can instead empty your site
  https://en.support.wordpress.com/empty-site/

  2)Unsubscribe all email notifications by checking the checkbox ‘Block all email updates from blogs you’re following on WordPress.com’ on link below
  https://wordpress.com/me/notifications/subscriptions

  3) Change your password to random string and leave the account inactive.

  4) Change email address under Account Settings. This will help in creating another WordPress account in future with same email id as every WordPress account is linked to unique email id.
