WordPress account hacked
-
Hello,
Our website (www.alteritythegame.com) and our WordPress account have been hacked a few weeks ago.
It seems that someone changed the email address and the password related to our account.
Normally, the email related to our account must be (email visible only to moderators and staff) or (email visible only to moderators and staff) (we don’t remember which one).
But we can’t change anything, because we don’t know to which other email address our account is currently related to.
How can we fix that, please?
Thanks in advance!
Best regards,

Didn’t you acknowledge you were asking for help in the wrong support forum weeks ago?

Hi there, please do refer to my reply at https://wordpress.com/forums/topic/hack-of-our-wordpress-account/#post-3810411 on this.
To add to that thought, based on the info above, if you have access to your hosting account’s control panel and they offer phpMyAdmin (most do), you can change both the email address and password on the account by following the steps at https://wordpress.org/support/article/resetting-your-password/#through-phpmyadmin

Hello,
We tried to change the password of our WordPress account.
But the problem is we don’t know to which address an email (to change the password) has been sent.
Actually, we would like to know to which email address our ID “admin8455” is related to.
How can we fix this, please?
Thanks in advance!
Best regards,

Your WordPress.com account is not connected to your WordPress.org site, so changing it here won’t make a difference.
You’ll need to follow the steps at https://wordpress.org/support/article/resetting-your-password/#through-phpmyadmin
That will walk you through changing the password directly in the database, and along the way, you’ll see what the email address is saved as too.
You’ll find phpMyAdmin in your hosting account’s control panel.
To clear up any confusion, WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two different entities: https://wordpress.com/support/com-vs-org/
If you need further help with that, WordPress.org has complete documentation at https://wordpress.org/support/ and support at https://wordpress.org/support/forums/
