Hi – trying to delete wordpress site, but seems had two sites attached to same username, and when try to cancel whole account to get around this, got an error message saying to contact Support.
Now stuck posting in a Forum as can’t work out how to get through to actual account Support.
Please can someone help? Thanks! -
If you are talking about sites hosted here on WordPress.com then you can have multiple sites connected to one username. You don’t need to cancel your account/username if you still want to keep one site. You just delete the site you don’t need (or you could always set it to private in case you found a use for it in the future).

Thank you so much! – but I fear I need some more help!
I managed to delete at one site and it’s no longer showing up in the mysite/settings section, however when I enter the “old” web address for the wordpress website I’m trying to delete, I still get a password-protected login page.
When I enter my old login details on that page, I’m now getting an incorrect password error, whereas before it popped me through to the website development section.
Does it take wordpress a while to actually delete pages??

Sites are deleted immediately and afterwards typing the address gives you a message saying the site has been deleted by the owner.
Could you reveal the full address of the site. Are you definitely the owner/admin? -
Ah! Yes, def the owner/admin, but embarrassingly appears my other half set up a website years ago through our hosting provider and that’s what’s displaying the login page, not a wordpress issue.
So sorry for taking up your time!!
