wordpress account needed just to leave a comment?

    I have friends (who don’t have a wordpress account) who tell me that they cannot leave a comment on my blog unless they create a wordpress account. Why is this? I have my blog set up so that people can give their email address and name the first time they comment, and once approved by me, they’re good to go. No?

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there! Non-users can also leave comments if you adjust your settings accordingly.

    Click on Settings → Discussion. Change your settings for “Comment author must fill out name and e-mail.” Make sure to Save Changes.
