I want to delete my account so my friend can use the email address as WordPress did not email his email address and we can later change his email to what is really is.

He was not able to create an account but I shall check what he wanted it to be if necessary.

I don’t understand why he doesn’t register his own email account and then register his own username account. Can you explain why that is to me?

He typed in his email address to the correct box and did everything else but when he pressed create blog and it said that he had been sent an email to confirm it was his, he checked over and over again but the email wasn’t there.

The software here will react ie. HIDE email addresses so only Staff can see them. Please type the email address he used here and ask your friend to look in his email client/junk mail filter.
