WordPress address changed to a webpage.
-
Hello!
I have quite the issue on my hands. I would appreciate any assistance!
My ‘WordPress address URL’ in the dashboard settings has been changed to a page URL on my site. Because of this, I am no longer able to login to my dashboard. The page that would serve as my admin login previously now redirects me to a mostly unstable page. For example – mysite.com (WordPress URL) is now mysite.com/home. But Mysite.com/home was also an internal page.
Is there any way I can revert my WordPress URL back to mysite.com from mysite.com/home if I am unable to access my admin panel, due to the change of URL?

Hi there!
This wouldn’t be possible on WordPress.com so you are probably referring to a site using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but hosted elsewhere.
Because WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two entirely separate entities, we cannot access files or data for sites that are hosted elsewhere, so WordPress.com staff can only assist with sites that are hosted on our servers. You can read more about the differences between WordPress.org software and WordPress.com here:
You can look for help at the community forums here: https://wordpress.org/support/forums/
http://wordpress.org/support/ is also a great resource for sites using the open-source WordPress.org software.
