WordPress Admin doesn't recognize me
-
I just switched from a wordpress.com site to a wordpress.org site. For some reason, the WordPress Admin page doesn’t recognize my userid or password. I can’t update the new site.
The old site is beyourownanswer.wordpress.com
The new site is beyourownanswer.com with wordpress.org — I needed to add plugins and wordpress.com doesn’t have them. Now that I’ve migrated the site over to the wordpress.org host (bluehost.com), I can’t change things (themes, eliminate pages, etc). It doesn’t recognize “beyondluck” as a userid, or my email address.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

We cannot assist you with the WordPress.org site at all. You need to be at their forums for answers with that. And you need to recognize that your blog and login here are completely independent of that blog and login. There is no reason they would be the same.

Thanks for the quick response, raincoaster!
Except I’m in the wordpress.com dashboard right now with my old site and the new site is also in the dashboard.
We linked everything with a JetPack plugin. So I can adjust the old site, and all was okay at first with editing the new site, but now, not so much.

Figured it out. Jetpack redirected me to another login page, and the credentials work there! :)
