WordPress Admin Panel is Slow

  • Unknown's avatar

    Hi,

I’m currently creating a new website, and the admin panel is running so slow. I’m using AdGuard and Grammarly on Mac. However, this issue is happening on Firefox, too, when I’m on Windows. I have a bunch of extensions on Firefox besides Grammarly and AdGuard.

The thing is that I had not faced this issue before. What should I do? What caused this?

    Thanks,

There could be several reasons. I would start by disabling all browser extensions but I guess ADGuard is the culprit as it’s known addblockers interfere with wordpress.com. Also clear your browser cache.

    Hi there!

We aren’t aware of any site-wide issues that would cause the WordPress.com dashboard to be slow, so I’m thinking it might be specific to your browser/computer/ISP.

Just to double-check, are you creating your new site with us at WordPress.com?

If yes, and you’re still getting slowness when navigating your WordPress.com dashboard, could you try clearing your browser cache and launching an Incognito/Private browsing mode to see if that helps? Here’s how to clear your browser cache: https://wordpress.com/support/browser-issues/#clear-your-browser-cache

If you allow extensions in Incognito/private browsing, please try disabling them as well.

    Hi,

It is working properly now, I guess, it is because of some of my extensions.

    Bests,
