WordPress Ads on Site not earning any money?

  I turned on the option to monetise with ads (built into wordpress) while i wait for google ads to be setup.

  The analytics say that my site has displayed 415k ads so far this month but earnings are only $1.50?

  is this normal?

  WP.com: Yes
  Jetpack: Yes
  Correct account: Yes
