WordPress Ads Sign Up Issues

  It wont let me sign up for wordpress ads…it says its unable to recognize my blog or something.

  I’m just simply trying to apply to wordpress ads but it keep saying it cant tell what blog I own even though I’m logged in

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  This is pretty easy to answer. http://www.mauricelindsay.com/ is not a WordPress.COM blog but a WordPress.ORG one and is thus not eligible for WordAds.

  What’s the difference…I thought self hosted blogs were eligible

  WordPress ads, I think, only work for blogs hosted on WordPress.com, which means the WP team controls the backend.

  If the blog is self-hosted, the WP team doesn’t have access to it and you’ll need to find an alternative.

  No. Basically you have nearly-unlimited ad options, all of which will give you better returns than WordAds would. You just have to apply to the ad networks yourself.
