WordPress Alternative To HTML & Tables?

    I’m looking for a WordPress alternative style to be used for an older website that is currently done in HTML and includes tables. I’m thinking a database driven site because of all the data (over 400 songs) with categories for each song (downloads and purchases). Click to see examples of the type of data.: TwoWingsMusic.com and a song list page.

    Anyone got suggestions?

    If you will be installing wordpress at the current web host, then you need to ask over at http://wordpress.ORG/support as that is where the self-hosted version of wordpress is supported.

    Then you can also install one of the simple download ecommerce plugins such as “paid downloads” to handle the payments and downloading.

    As far as an alternative to tables for presenting the information in a grid like you have it, there could be some options via plugins for self-hosted sites, but again that is something you will have to talk with the people over at the .ORG forums about.
