WordPress and bbPress

  Dear all,

  I unsuccessfully tried to get an answer on the French forum so I repeat my question here. I am considering subscribing to WordPress.com but I would like to know whether bbPress is compatible as I want to create a private forum. If yes, I would also like to know whether my future members will be capable of registering directly on my website without creating a WordPress.com account, which would be bothersome. Thank you for your assistance!

  Thank you, do you know if my members will be able to register without being already registered to WordPress.com? I’ve read a 2017 thread saying it was being developed.
