WordPress and Email

  Last night I pointed my wordpress site to a domain that I have owned for many years (gci-int.com) and the WP website is fine and loads, but I can no longer receive email!!! this is a disaster for our business.

  I pointed the domain to NS1.WORDPRESS.COM, NS2.WORDPRESS.COM, etc . My email server is at gate.com or

  How do I fix this ASAP!

  Your current MX record points to pop.gci-int.com and not gate.com.

  Hi Daschultemn,

  That’s good info, but can you help to resolve the probelm and get gci-int.com email up and running again, please.

  How do I change things?

  Hello Dave,

  If you Edit your Primary Domain and look on the Edit DNS view, are you able to change the MX record to the correct mail server?

  Well, I’ve tried using pop.gci-int.com but it does not work as when i make a test email to (email visible only to moderators and staff) the email does not go through. THere is no error message.

  Plus now when i use gmail client to retrieve gci-int.com email, it can not. I can send emails from (email visible only to moderators and staff) using gmail (smtp.gci-int.com) but I can not retrieve gci-int.com emails.

  getting quite frustrated…
